Upcoming Project: Boyden Arbor entrance to Fort Jackson

Columbia Green has agreed to take on beautifying the Boyden Arbor entrance to Fort Jackson. This entrance off of Percival Road is used by families and friends of soldiers graduating from basic training at Fort Jackson. Every Friday, approximately 3,000 people pass through this gate to watch the 1,000 new graduates parade across Hilton Field.

The entrance garden is small, but Columbia Green is investigating ways to beautify and improve it's look as this is the first impression many visitors get of our beautiful city. Plans call for both a sign and plantings welcoming people to Fort Jackson. It is hope that this entrance will be a model for the other three primary entrances of Fort Jackson.

We will post updates on this project as they become available.
