Celebrate Earth Day and Benefit Columbia Green
In celebration of Earth Day, Saluda's Restaurant and Mo Mo's Bistro have pledged five percent of their restaurant sales next week to Columbia Green and the South Carolina Ag in the Classroom Fund. Both restaurants are celebrating Earth Day from April 20 through April 26 with a variety of special lunches and dinners that feature organic food and wine as well as locally grown products.
Patronizing Saluda's and Mo Mo's Bistro this week will reward you with a wonderful meal while helping to beautify Columbia at the same time. Both restaurants will be open all week and have pledged to donate 2.5 percent of all sales to Columbia Green. In addition to their regular lunches and dinners, they are hosting the follow special events:
- On Monday, April 20, Saluda’s will host an Earth Day Wine Dinner that will feature fresh, locally grown products and organic wine at a cost of $30 per person;
- On Tuesday, April 21, Mo Mo’s will feature a wine tasting featuring organic wines from 6 to 7:30 p.m. for $15 a person. Light hors devours will also be available.
- On Wednesday, April 22, Saluda’s will host a “Go Green” event and evening fashion show beginning at 5:30 p.m. Tickets are $30 and include organic wine and fresh local food.
- On Thursday, April 23, Mo Mo’s will host a five-course all natural tasting menu with organic wine pairings beginning at 6:30 p.m.
- On Sunday, April 26, Saluda’s will host a special brunch at 11 a.m. featuring locally-grown products and produce.
