Community Grants

Columbia Green also works with other community groups, associations and organizations to support their efforts to make Columbia public places more beautiful. Grants are awarded between $500 - $10,000 and are accepted all year.

Here is a list of past Parks and Beautification projects awarded:
Parks Beautification

  • Heathwood Park
  • Hollywood Rose Hill Park: perennial beds
  • Martin Luther King Park: entrance
  • Memorial Park: Live Oaks


Other Beautification Projects

  • Columbia Museum of Art: Boyd Plaza quadrant
  • Corner of Rosewood & Assembly at State Fair Grounds
  • Island at Devine & Saluda in Five Points
  • Medians on Blossom Streets near USC Coliseum
  • Robert Mills House Founders Garden quadrant
  • Seibels House garden restoration project


Criteria:

  • Organizations must be not for profit 501c3 designation
  • Area for re-beautification must be a public space
  • Irrigation
